World Science Day for Peace & Development
ACTIVITY NAME : DANCING RAISINS EXPERIMENT 👨🔬👩🔬🙌
School Activity for Science Day in Preschools. Enjoy these activity along with kids ✨✨✨✨✨

STEPS:
1.Class teacher can demonstrate this in the class. children can take turns dropping a few raisins into the jar.
2.Drop a handful of raisins into a jar of water. (They sink to the bottom.)
3.Open a sealed soda bottle or a carbonated fizzy cold drink. Pour it slowly in to a jar.
4.Drop a handful of raisins into the jar.
After a while the raisins will rise to the surface, sink, rise again, and this repeats.
5.When many “bubbles” form on the raisin, they lift the raisin to the surface. When some of the bubbles break, the density increases, and the raisins sink.

LEARNING OUTCOME :
Science and Discovery:
1. Recognizes the effect of carbonation on objects.
2. Develops curiosity and interest in scientific exploration.
Fine Motor Skills:
1. Enhances hand-eye coordination through pouring and measuring.
2. Develops finger dexterity through handling small objects (raisins).
Mathematics:
1. Introduces basic concepts of measurement (volume, capacity).
2. Develops counting and basic numeracy skills.
Cognitive Development:
1. Develops problem-solving skills through experimentation.
2. Enhances critical thinking and analytical skills.
3. Introduces cause-and-effect relationships.
